This Salvo property has been a home and place for friends and renters to enjoy since 2005. A saltbox design with exposed beams and vaulted ceilings throughout, the home features new hardwood flooring and a tastefully decorated interior. Large sliding glass doors and windows provide plenty of natural light and ventilation: when open, they allow the refreshing ocean air and uniquely dramatic light of the Outer Banks to permeate the house. Previous visitors to the property say this aspect, coupled with the home’s airy design, create an energy that is both relaxing and inspiring.

Located in the oceanside community of "Hatteras Colony,” the residence is on a cul-de-sac with no through traffic. The quiet neighborhood location is perfect for walking, biking, and bird watching, and the substantial backyard is the ideal place to throw a frisbee, play some ball, or catch fireflies. Three elevated decks and a screened-in porch invite après-beach conversation and cocktails, a quiet morning with a new book, or an evening barbeque. The home also boasts modest ocean views from its upper level. Deeded access to both the beach and sound makes getting to the water easy; as does the nearby boat ramp, access to which is also included in the rental. So too is an on-site storage locker, perfect for securing outdoor and sporting gear.

Inside, you’ll find common rooms appointed with leather furniture and traditional Hatteras décor, including goods made by local artisans.

Simple and bright, the bedrooms feature organic cotton sheets and plush comforters for those spring or fall nights when you need extra warmth. Our spacious kitchen is stocked with china and cookware perfect for making a casual breakfast, weekend brunch or candlelit dinner. A spiral staircase leads guests to the loft.

And so included in your rental rate is also a personal concierge service designed to help you plan and get the most out of your vacation.
