After a day at the beach, watch the kids enjoy bicycling, rollerblading, or riding their tricycles or pedal cars on a street with minimal traffic. There is plenty of space to join-in throwing a softball or dribbling a basketball on the long, newly paved driveway or in the cul-d-sac. If you bring the toys, there is ample room in the front yard for horse shoes, badminton, and more. You’ll feel like you have the place to yourself as SUMMERPLACE sits back from the street and surrounded by trees and shrubs. The feeling of privacy is supreme.

Once inside for the evening, you’ll continue to feel the satisfaction of choosing SUMMERPLACE while enjoying TV or playing cards in the comfortable, spacious living room. You’ll be surrounded by tasteful artwork and décor by the owner. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookery for gourmet meals! Prepare fresh North Carolina seafood or your favorite side dishes while your steak is grilling on the outdoor charcoal grill. Enjoy your meals on the hand-crafted dinning room table with plenty of room for six. Or, if you want to remain outdoors a while longer, enjoy your culinary bounty on the large, shady deck! If wine or adult beverages are to your liking, there is plenty of stemware for this, as well.

Don’t forget to bring your flashlights for an after-dark walk on the beach. There is nothing more relaxing than hearing the surf break on the beach as you walk among the ghost crabs skittering along your path. If you’re lucky you may happen upon a sea turtle nest along the way, but please keep your distance as these wonderful creatures are protected.

As you retire for the night, you’ll appreciate the superb construction of SUMMERPLACE. While Mom and Dad plan the next day’s adventures, they will not be disturbed by the kids watching TV or playing video games in their bedrooms. They’ll be delighted to find a bedroom decorated for boys and one for girls!!
